SOUTH MILWAUKEE, WI, June 22, 2011 /Electrical PR News/ -- John R. Oliver, Senior Vice President of North American at Bucyrus International Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in customer service and operations management.
An employee with the mining equipment manufacturer, Bucyrus International Inc., since 1989, Mr. Oliver is a dynamic and driven administrator. With broad organizational experience and extensive knowledge of international relations, as well as fluency in English and Spanish, he has handled numerous assignments in South America, North Africa, South Africa, and the United States. Under his leadership, the company has been able to maximize productivity and in turn, increase its value by 1,500 percent.
Recognized for his accomplishments, Mr. Oliver took on the role of senior vice president of the North American customer service and distribution function in 2010. He oversees distribution operations, develops strategies to regain market share, improves business performance, and enhances customer support. A success due to his determination, Mr. Oliver hopes to eventually become the company's chief executive officer.
Mr. Oliver, who earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and marketing, and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, has completed management courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Cardinal Stritch University. In addition, he is a certified inter-provincial journeyman industrial electrician. Mr. Oliver is a supporter of United Way International, Covenant House, and the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.
