Felipe Guadalupe honored as Professional of the Year
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA, November 11, 2010 /Electrical PR News/ -- Felipe Guadalupe, Fiber Optic Instructor for KITCO Fiber Optics, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in manufacturing instruction. This year, Mr. Guadalupe was chosen as Cambridge Publishing's Professional of the Year in the field. Distinguished from among 400,000 registry members, he is honored for his personal and professional accomplishments.
After leading an illustrious career in the United States Navy that spanned from 1981 to 2001, Felipe Guadalupe retired from his post as Navy Trainer to enter the field of fiber optics. Now celebrating his 10th year in manufacturing instruction, Mr. Guadalupe serves as a Fiber Optic Instructor for KITCO Fiber Optics, responsible for conducting training sessions, maintaining the curriculum, testing equipment, troubleshooting, and installing fiber optic connectors.
Educated in business studies with a bachelor of arts from the University of Phoenix, Mr. Guadalupe originally became involved in instruction in the Navy. He retired with the rank of E6, and went on to assume what he would later refer to as the "perfect" position with KITCO, a company providing fiber optic tools, tool kits, custom cable assemblies, consumables, connectors and accessories. Today, he credits his success to his motivation, determination and passion for his profession.
