/Electrical PR News/ - RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, July 30, 2005 - Today, Cyberlux Corporation and Bruni Industria Mobili SRL announce the formation of a joint venture that will address the solid-state lighting needs of the European marketplace. Bruni Industria Mobili SRL, a 51-year-old furniture, fixture and consumer products manufacturing conglomerate located in Sora, Italy, is one of the largest manufacturers of furnishing products, including lighting products and fixtures, for the European market.
Under the terms of the agreement, Cyberlux Corporation has granted Bruni Industria the European marketing and distribution rights for the Cyberlux products, and Cyberlux and Bruni Industria Mobili SRL will integrate Cyberlux technology into Bruni Industria products.
"The joint venture with Bruni Industria Mobili SRL is another significant milestone for Cyberlux Corporation. The Bruni Industria organization has a vast reach within the European marketplace and a product scope that will extend the Cyberlux technology further into the enormous general lighting market segments. For example, the Cyberlux Aeon technology will be adapted to the products produced by the Divisione Arredamento Negozi, which manufactures retail furniture and fixtures for commercial use. In addition, the Bruni distribution network will give our existing products access to the important European market," said Don Evans, Chairman and CEO of Cyberlux.
Cyberlux and Bruni Industria expect the joint venture to begin operating in early 4th quarter of 2005, with the initial focus on extending the existing Cyberlux products into the numerous European channels supplied by Bruni Industria. In addition, the joint venture will begin integrating the Cyberlux solid-state lighting technology into the various Bruni product segments where long-lasting, virtually heatless, maintenance-free, energy-efficient lighting will revolutionize the lighting solutions used in the Bruni Industria business.
